208 Wings

208 Wings

Football games, party's, or a quick impromptu snack for hungry kids - 208 Wings are the ticket!!

For the value... buy a bag of frozen wings or drumettes from Costco, Cash n' Carry or one of your nearby warehouse groceries chains.

When you get home... layout frozen wings on a cookie sheet, spray a light mist of water on them and generously apply various Smokin' 208 spice to them (we like Sriracha or Habanero 208).  Do this for both sides.
** Then repackage into a ziplock type bag and mark date/flavor.

Fast forward... you have the idea for some Wings!
Pre-heat your smoker to 275° and take Wings out of freezer.

Depending on your timeframe... cook for 45-60 min (if they are solid frozen... more like 75min) at 275° - 325°.  And... if you want a char, baste frequently with your favorite marinade or BBQ Sauce.

Alternate Marinate

A mixture of soy sauce, garlic, Tabasco, and brown sugar.  For this I would take thaw wings and add at least 2 hours prior.
